1. Overview

ASCEND is a privacy-first bodyweight-fitness app. Your training data stays on your device. There is no user account and no sign-up required to train. We never sell your data.

2. Training Data (stored locally only)

Everything about your training — daily quests, reps you enter, rank, level, streak and settings — is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

3. Friends & Leaderboard (optional cloud feature)

If you use the optional Friends/Guild and Leaderboard features, a small "rank card" is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) so you and your friends can compare ranks. It contains only the display name you choose (a nickname — no real name required), your current rank, stage and streak, and a random app-generated ID. It contains no account, email, phone number, contacts or real identity. To enable this the app signs you in anonymously (Firebase Anonymous Authentication) — no email, no password. If you never use these features, none of this data leaves your device.

4. Diagnostics & Analytics

To keep the app stable and improve it, the app uses Google Firebase services:

Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports (device model, OS version, crash traces).
Firebase Analytics — anonymous, aggregated usage statistics and a randomized app-instance identifier.

This data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Purchases

The optional one-time Lifetime purchase is handled by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). Purchase/entitlement handling uses RevenueCat, which processes only a purchase/receipt identifier — not personal data. All payment data is processed exclusively by Google or Apple. We do not store payment information.

6. No Advertising

The app contains no ads and no advertising trackers.

7. Data Deletion – How to Delete Your Data

Local data: Uninstalling the app permanently removes all data stored on your device (training progress, ranks, streak, settings). You can also export/import your progress as a local backup.

Cloud rank card (Friends & Leaderboard): If you used the optional Friends/Guild or Leaderboard features, a small "rank card" (your chosen nickname, rank, stage, streak and a random app-generated ID) is stored in Google Firebase. To delete it, you can:

In the app: remove yourself from your guild / friends list, or
By email: send a request to ngzlegacy.support@pm.me with the subject "Delete my ASCEND data" and your app ID (shown in the app under Friends). We delete the associated cloud rank card within 30 days.

Data that is deleted: your cloud rank card (nickname, rank, stage, streak, random app ID) and all local on-device data. Data that may be retained: anonymized, aggregated diagnostics/analytics (Firebase Crashlytics/Analytics) that cannot be linked to you personally; we keep no personal identity data.

8. Children

This app is not directed at children under 13 years of age.
