By downloading or using ASCEND ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
ASCEND provides general bodyweight-fitness content for informational and motivational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical or fitness guidance. Exercise carries inherent risks. Before starting this or any exercise program, especially if you have a health condition, injury, are pregnant, or have any doubt about your fitness to exercise, consult a physician. Stop immediately and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort. You train at your own risk and are solely responsible for exercising safely and within your limits.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own private, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.
ASCEND offers an optional one-time Lifetime purchase that unlocks premium features. Purchases are processed by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS) and are subject to their terms and refund policies. Entitlement handling uses RevenueCat. We do not process or store payment information.
If you use the optional Friends/Guild and Leaderboard features, you choose a display nickname. You agree not to use offensive, unlawful, or infringing names, and not to misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or its services.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". Optional cloud features (Friends/Leaderboard) depend on third-party services and may change or be unavailable. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any injury, loss, or damages arising from your use of the app, including any exercise you perform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the developer's country of residence within the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
